about

Out of the Blue – Ann and I wrote this song in 2010. Again I had a riff that I’d always loved, played it to her and she wrote the words. We did an acoustic version of the song and played it at various open mics. I decided to do a full arrangement. It was as simple as that.

lyrics

Out of the Blue

My broken heart healed of pain,
On my own, free again,
The path ahead seemed straight and true
Then out of the blue
I met you,
I met you

You held my gaze, you made me smile,
I needed to be in your arms, for a while
You understood, you seemed to care,
To fall again
Should I dare,
Should I dare

You draw me in and try to fight,
But the more that I know, the more that I like
You seemed so real, you seemed so true,
Out of the blue,
I’d fallen for you,
I’d fallen for you
